Abigail Spanberger, a Democratic representative from Virginia's 7th district, is advocating for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to address delays in processing claims due to the influx of cases related to the Honoring Our PACT law. This law expanded health care benefits for veterans who were exposed to toxic substances during their military service. Spanberger has requested information on the specific challenges that caused the delays, a plan outlining how the VA will correct this problem, and recommendations on how Congress can help the VA provide veterans with the benefits they have earned. The largest universities in Prince William County, Virginia, by number of degrees awarded are the Manassas Aviation Maintenance Institute (61 and 54.5%) and Paul Mitchell the School-Woodbridge (51 and 45.5%).
After leaving federal service, Paul became an active volunteer for the Manassas Park Cities Democratic Committee.
